When connecting a programming device to the BOP it is critical that only a single earth-ground point is connected.

The figure below shows three configurations illustrating the proper connection of a single earth-ground point, showing the proper current path through the load.

CAUTION
Connecting more than one earth-ground point is not permitted. Damage resulting from failure to observe this caution is the user's responsibility and is NOT covered by the warranty.

CAUTION
The following figure shows the consequences of multiple earth-ground points. The connections shown below are wrong, and are shown for explanation purposes only. Use the single earth-ground figure shown above for proper earth-ground configuration!
