Kepco, Inc. offers DIN-Rail mounting kits for nearly all of its modular-style power supplies from 3 watts to 1500 watts. DIN Rails are commonly used to mount industrial equipment in equipment racks. By making the mounting kits available, Kepco's power supplies can easily be clipped onto a rail without taking rack panel space. There are three possible mounting orientations as illustrated: Long, Short and Perpendicular. A kit is offered for each orientation for Kepco's a-c to d-c power modules in single-output and multi-output variety and Kepco's d-c to d-c converters. Two programmable power modules rated 20 and 50 watts are also suitable for DIN-Rail mounting. Each DIN-Rail mounting kit includes two clips, brackets and all necessary hardware. For those models where the enclosure is optional, a suitable metal enclosure is provided as part of the DIN-Rail mounting kit. For those models which use connectors for input/output rather than barrier strips, mating connectors pre-wired to suitable cables are provided as part of the kit. Kits are available for any Kepco model in the ECM, ERD, ERX, FAK, FAW, FMP, FCP, HSM, KRW, MRW, PAT, PTR, RAX and RCW power supply groups, the kit number is constructed by appending the power supply group (and power if necessary) to the prefix "DIN." Use the letters L, S and P to indicate the direction of mounting. The long-direction kit for Kepco's 175W RCW models would be DIN RCW-175L.
