Kepco offers the HSP design in a smaller, modular bolt-down form for applications that do not require the removability and hot-swap features of the HSP. These models are called HSM. The 1000W and new 1500W units are available in the modular HSM form as well.
Like HSP, the HSM contain EMI filtering that attenuates the noise reflected
back onto the a-c mains below the limits of FCC class A. HSM are capable
of sustaining full load operation through the loss of one full mains cycle at any source voltage. If the mains power is lost for more than one cycle, HSM provides a flag a minimum of 5 milliseconds before the output loses regulation.
