KFD are high density flat-pack d-c to d-c converters available with two different inputs: the 28V nominal input is rated 18-36 volts and the 60V nominal input is rated 36-72V.

These are wide range d-c inputs. To designate this, we use the letter "W" after the nominal d-c input voltage. KFD are particularly suited to telecommunications applications to convert the d-c bus to the voltages appropriate for modern logic applications.
