Kepco is seeking bids from qualified suppliers of radially insertable parts. The parts are to be inserted using a Universal Instruments Model RAD V auto-insertion machine. The parts should be supplied packaged on tape and reel per EIA-468-B or the Universal Radial Component Taping Specification.)

Kepco is also interested in incorporating other components into new designs that can be auto-inserted using a radial inserter. Components other than traditionally inserted radial parts (e.g., capacitors, TO-92 transistors) can be handled by the insertion machine. The key is to have 2 or 3 leads that the machine can handle. Either live or dummy leads may be used. Additional short leads may also be present (these leads basically come along for the ride) .
