KLP/KLR Firmware Upgrade Utility
The KLP/KLR Firmware Upgrade Utility allows the main Firmware Version of selected Kepco products to be upgraded by the user at no cost. This is accomplished by downloading both the Firmware Upgrade Utility containing the application, and the Instruction Sheet that explains how to install the application and perform the upgrade.
KLP-E and KLR-E models with a main firmware version of 10.12 or higher also require LAN Firmware upgrade.
Only the following products and Firmware Versions can be upgraded with this utility. After confirming that your model fits the KLP/KLR upgrade requirements and you understand which utilities you need, go to DOWNLOAD NOW

** CAUTION: Version 10.07 is not applicable to Model KLP 10-150. Do not install Version 10.07 in KLP 10-150.

- If the status display shows SET, tap either the CURRENT or VOLTAGE control to take the unit out of setpoint mode (status display goes from SET to blank).
- Using a thin tool (e.g., a paper clip), press the FUNCTION switch once, then rotate either the VOLTAGE or CURRENT control until the status display reads CNFG.
- Tap DC OUTPUT switch to enter the submenu, then rotate either the VOLTAGE or CURRENT control until the status display reads VERS.
- The DC AMPERES display shows the firmware version.
- The DC VOLTS display identifies whether the firmware is the factory shipped firmware (Pri displayed) or field updated firmware (SEC displayed).
